Here are a few of the questions to which Cramer recently responded:
- Kohl's (KSS) - Get Report:
Would you be a buyer of Kohl's stock ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting next Tuesday? - Accredited Home Lenders( LEND) is currently restructuring.
What do the company's efforts mean for the buyout offer from Lonestar? Do they make it more difficult for Lonestar to back out, or do they make it easier for LEND to succeed in forcing Lonestar to live up to the agreement? - Given the current state of the economy, do you believe Aecom Technology's (ACM) - Get Report place in the services sector will cause it to underperform, or do you feel it would be wise to stay in the position given its unique environmental-related metric?
- I know that you like select retailers before the Fed rate cut, so I would like to know your thoughts on Macy's (M) - Get Report.
Does CEO Terry Lundgren still get the benefit of the doubt from you, and at what point does Macy's start to look like a value play? - While you were at USC for the "Mad Money" Back-to-School Tour last week, you mentioned during the taping that it was interesting that Under Armour (UA) - Get Report gear was not as prevalent on our campus as it was back east. I thought about it and would like to offer my insights. Aside from the fact that we're a big Nike (NKE) - Get Report school, I think the biggest reason UA gear is not as big at USC (and maybe the entire West Coast) is weather. It's not humid out here, so sweat buildup isn't as big an issue as back east during the summer, and winter gear is just plain unnecessary since it's never cold. While my friends and I still use UA gear when we're working out, I think its utility in So Cal is greatly diminished as an everyday item of clothing.
