WikiLeaks' Assange Repeats Bank Claim

founder Julian Assange has been released from jail and states that he would soon release sensitive information about a U.S. bank.
Speaking with
NBC's
Peter Alexander on
The Today Show
, Assange said that that he will release information about the U.S. bank soon but would not say what those documents consisted of or which bank would be the target.
CNBC
later reported the interview.
"We have been attacked, primarily, not by government, primarily, in fact, not by the U.S. government, but by banks--banks from Dubai, banks from Switzerland, banks from the United States, banks from the UK," Assange said. "So, yes, of course, we are continuing to release material about banks."

report, Assange stated that in 2009 he had five gigabytes of documents from
Bank of America

Assange was released from a British jail Thursday after posting bail and is fighting extradition to Sweden on rape allegations, according to published reports.
