Time Inc. Launches Reality Cooking Show on Facebook's 'Watch' Platform

The new show is a reality cooking program that pits award-winning chefs against a millennial food writer to see who can create the best tasting dish after watching a short viral food video.

Time Inc. (TIME) on Friday launched its new video series for Facebook's (FB) - Get Report Watch, the social media giant's streaming platform, called "Homemade vs. The Internet,"

The new show is a reality cooking program that pits award-winning chefs against a millennial food writer to see who can create the best tasting dish after watching a short viral food video. The first season of "Homemade vs. The Internet" will air for five episodes, with a new episode debuting every Sunday.

"Homemade vs. The Internet" is produced by Time Inc. Productions and "highlights Time Inc.'s commitment to providing premium and engaging video content to consumers on all platforms," Time said.

"We are excited to work with Facebook as we continue to expand our premium video offerings to our viewers across all platforms," commented Ian Orefice, Vice President, Head of Programming. "Through these series, we can build on our brands' engaging content and deepen their connection with their audiences."

Shares of Time Inc. were falling in midday trading on Friday.
