Shedlin, the chairman of Citigroup's global Financial Institutions Group, plans to join Morgan Stanley as a vice chairman, the

New York Post

reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

Shedlin's departure date from Citigroup couldn't be learned, the

Post

says, adding a Morgan Stanley spokesman declined to comment and a call to Citigroup wasn't immediately returned.
