Trump Says Malaysia Could Purchase $10 Billion Worth of Boeing, GE Products
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak is visiting the White House.
President Donald Trump said that he is currently negotiating with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak over a deal for the country to purchase $10 billion worth of Boeing Corp. (BA) - Get Report and General Electric Corp. (GE) - Get Report products.
"We are talking about trade, very large trade deals. We're working on one deal where between 10 and 20 billion dollars' worth of Boeing jets are going to be purchased. General Electric engines will be purchased," Trump said.
Shares of GE were up 0.17% to $23.77 in afternoon trading while Boeing shares were down 0.48% to $239.43 Tuesday.
