Largest Refinery in U.S. Resumes Operations Following 2 Weeks of Inactivity
Motiva Enterprises shut down operations two weeks ago.
Motiva Enterprises LLC, the United States' largest refiner, resumed operations Monday after shutting down two weeks ago due to potential damage from Hurricane Harvey, sources told Reuters.
Motiva Enterprises is back up to producing 325,000 barrels per day at its 603,000 bpd Port Arthur, Texas, refinery to minimum production levels early in the day, sources told Reuters.
It could take four to eight weeks to get the refinery completely back up and running, sources told Reuters.
