JetBlue (JBLU) - Get Report will offer any remaining seats on direct flights to Florida departing through September 18 for a reduced fare of $99 and $159 for connecting flights, as it brings operations back online following Hurricane Irma.

JetBlue stated that it hopes to resume its regularly scheduled flights to Florida by the end of this week, but cautioned that additional cancellations are possible depending on infrastructure damage.

Because of Hurricane Irma's damaging effects, JetBlue has canceled roughly 900 flights through Friday but intends to resume limited operations out of Orlando and Fort Lauderdale airports on Tuesday evening.

For passengers with existing scheduled flights, JetBlue has waived cancellation fees, as well as change fees and differences in air fare booking.
