Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA) - Get Report is adding more shows to its over-the-top video-on-demand streaming service FX+, in a move to be less reliant on other streaming services, Recode reports.

Shares of Twenty-First Century Fox were rising over 1% in mid-morning trading on Monday.

FX+ subscribers will now gain access to an additional lineup of shows that were not present on the service when it first debuted, including original seasons of "The Americans."
