Consumer Sentiment Hits 6-Month High
Consumer sentiment inches up, falling in-line with economists.
NEW YORK (
) -- Consumer sentiment inched higher in December, in-line with economists' expectations.
The Reuters/University of Michigan final gauge of consumer sentiment hit a six-month high of 74.5 during the month from 74.1 in November. Nonetheless, this reading still remains below pre-recession levels of more than 80.
