Chinese Smartphone Maker Huawei Takes Shots at Apple iPhone X
Huawei, the largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer in the world, has taken several jabs at Apple (AAPL) - Get Report and its new iPhone X, revealed last week.
In one shot, the Chinese smartphone maker tweeted an animation of an Apple being broken down with the caption "Feeling disappointed? We've got a real surprise exceeding anything you've ever seen," while stating that the company has something significant coming October 16.
In a separate post on Facebook (FB) - Get Report , Huawei appears to criticize the iPhone X's facial recognition feature saying that "facial recognition isn't for everyone."
Huawei, the world's ninth-largest information technology company by revenue, is set to launch the Mate 10, its latest flagship smartphone, in October.
Apple and Huawei did not immediately respond to comment after calls from TheStreet.
