AIG Director Dammerman Resigns

said director Dennis Dammerman is resigning from the board of directors for health reasons.
The firm reported in its 10-K annual filing with the
Securities and Exchange Commission
that Dammerman gave notice on Thursday that he intended to resign, effective Feb. 28. AIG did not detail what the "health-related reasons" were.
Dammerman, a former chairman of
General Electric's
(GE) - Get Report
GE Capital Services, is on the audit committee, as well as the compensation and management committee. He is also on
BlackRock's
(C) - Get Report
board of directors.
AIG reported its
before the opening bell, coming in with a loss of nearly $9 billion for the three-month period. The stock was off 7% to $25.58 in recent trades.
