LOS ANGELES -- It is not a high-end noise-canceling headset, but for the price you pay, you get a pretty decent sound. Gadget Grrl shares the pros and cons of this little gadget, and then gives a nod to the Micro Bluetooth Stereo Headset.Active mobile executives might want to consider the Samsung WEP430 Headset. The design is key here, with an orange and black color combo and a loop that goes around the ear, instead of plugging into it.

The controls to operate the Bluetooth headset are on the outside, allowing you to do voice-dialing, answer and end calls and control volume -- which are easy to do once you get the feel for the device.

It's lightweight, weighing in at 15.3 ounces, and relatively small at 3" long. The talk time is listed at five hours. We got just about that when tested.

Pairing on this headset went smoothly and we didn't have to re-pair it after turning ourphone off (which can occur on some headsets).

Of note here is that if you are going to use this headset while running, you might need to stop running to talk. We found that walking with the headset kept it in place better thanrunning.

On the call in/out quality, we found this device worked best with the volume set on high. This is not to be considered a high-end headset so the expectation of

completely

canceling out background noise was what we got for the money. Also, of note here is that the headset cannot be charged via USB. So, you'll have to lug yet another charging adapter in your travel case.

Here is a Bluetooth headset that can be used with either your phone or to listen to music.

Com One's new Micro Bluetooth Stereo fits along the back of your head (instead of around the top) and includes a built-in microphone. Another factor here is that theseare nice and lightweight, at only 1 lb 8 oz, so your head won't ache while these are in use.

This headset works great with Skype or any other VoIP software. Anything to get youoff the desktop and into motion is a good thing.
