Compact Shaver to Lighten Your Load
LOS ANGELES --Size matters when it comes to items you need to lug around -- especially since space on planes is limited. That is why this compact shaver is ideal. Gadget Grrl loves that it can be charged via USB -- so that's one less adapter to lug around. Another small device of interest is the palm-sized cordlessmini-keyboard from Logitech called the DiNovo. It has many functions and doubles as a pointer.
Rechargeable USB Shaver |
For male mobile executives, shaving can sometimes be tough to squeeze in on the run.
What sets this compact shaver apart from others is that it can be charged via USB. I am always looking for a way to carry fewer power adapters and this is a great example.
Granted this won't replace your at-home shaver, but at $22, it won't be the end of the world if it's lost.
Power on this is enough for a touch-up. I don't know whether it's made to handle a heavy, longer beard, but for a quick, cleanshave, it's a clear choice.
A bright, blue light indicates that the shaver is in the process ofcharging -- it took approximately one hour to charge.
DiNovo Mini Keyboard |
Once you use this keyboard you might decide to ditch your old-school larger keyboard entirely.
With the Mini, you can control and access all of your entertainmentfiles on your PC, browse the Internet and watch TV.
Bluetooth technology gives you about a 30 ft range.
There are two backlighting modes here. The media remote modeis for navigating media, and the OK in the center of the pad shows up green. The cursor mode, used for browsing the Internet or using PC applications, shows up orange.
The keys are also backlit in orange, making it easy to use in low light.
What I like about the Mini is that it can also act as a pointer. Again, give me a reason to carry one less device and I'm sold.
Only thing I'd want to see on the DiNovo is compatibility witha MacBook.

iTunes can drive you crazy trying to organize your tuneslibrary. So this little add-on, iTunify, makes for a pretty littleassistant, handling things like detecting and automatically deleting duplicates, and converting AAC filesto audiobook. There are tons more like this on the Web site.
