The U.S. economy grew 3.5% in the third quarter of 2014, well above expectations. Jim Cramer says we are the strongest growing economy in the world in terms of the inflection point. He says there are a lot of good things going on in the economy - jobless claims are down to a level of 2,000, for example. Cramer says he likes the GDP number because it signals that there is a lot of activity - coal, gasoline being shipped, manufacturing products at a lower cost. The strong GDP number was largely propelled by defense spending which rose 16%. Estimates for the fourth quarter are expected to be just as strong.
