Captain America Cruises, Allergan Surges and Amazon Teams Up
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" topped the box office pack last weekend for the 3rd time in a row. Disney's latest Marvel movie set a record as the biggest April release ever when it opened with more than $96 million domestically. Meanwhile, Allergan’s management is trying to shield itself from a $45B bid from Valeant Pharmaceuticals and activist investor Bill Ackman. The pair announced a cash-and-stock deal to buy the Botox-maker, sending its stock skyrocketing. Finally, Amazon is teaming up with HBO to make its hit shows like "The Sopranos" and "The Wire" available to its prime members starting in late May.
