Consumer's money will go to places where there are secular growth trends, self-help and improvement says Jim Cramer. He adds, all those are embodied by Panera. Panera has raw costs and raw costs are down, the consumer has more money, and the company is being rolled out nationally. When the smoke clears, there are certain places people go to and the consumer cycle is good. He says, Macy's on the other hand, is getting hurt. Link advises, stay overweight on consumer stocks and look to buy those on the dips.
