On the earnings front, Walgreen Co. (WAG) is the one to watch as it reports fiscal first quarter results before the opening bell on Tuesday. The largest U.S. drugstore chain has been seeing a growth in its daily living business and prescription numbers. Shareholders will also vote on its proposed purchase of the remaining stake in Alliance Boots GmbH for approximately $15.3 billion.
