Teen apparel retailer dELiA*s is running into a cash flow problem with some investors saying that it will need to get its turnaround in gear or it could run out of money in a year's time. The company is depending on CEO Tracy Gardner to work the same kind of magic she accomplished at Gap Inc. and J. Crew -- but those companies weren't as dependent on the taste of teenage girls -- which is changeable at best and unpredictable at worst. Comparable sales were down a stunning 17.5% in the last quarter and some investors have bailed on the company. But others are hanging in there, waiting to see how the holiday season pans out.
