Beer giant Heineken really wants people to try its reformulated light beer. So much so that it’s willing to give it away for free. On Monday, Heineken launched its 'The Best Light Beer You’ve Ever Tasted, Guaranteed' marketing campaign. The company is so confident in the taste of its 99-calorie light beer that if a person is not happy with their six-pack, they are guaranteed to get their money back. To help introduce the ad, Heineken is partnering for the second year with 2015 Academy Awards host, Neil Patrick Harris, on a new commercial and digital video to bring the offer to life. The guarantee comes following extensive work by Heineken to reengineer the taste of its light beer, and take aim at a market being dominated by various craft beer entrants and the Michelob Ultra brand. But, the ad also comes as Heineken is rolling out new snazzier looking beer taps at bars across the globe to help set its brand apart.
