LinkedIn might have a monster problems on its hands: Monster Worldwide. No one would have thought it after LinkedIn's grand-slam IPO, but the company has spent a year with its stock on the downslope, while Monster has improbably notched gains. The social feed may prove king: Monster is trying to bolster its network by getting the word out on other social networks; LinkedIn has the benefit of its own social network to utilize. And, it's upping those efforts. Today's Chart of the Day tracks LinkedIn's efforts to grow up, as it integrates more user-generated content, and, soon, ads.
