NEW YORK, June 10, 2002 - With the continued success of TheStreet.com's professional products RealMoney Pro and TheStreet View -- the Company today announced the introduction of the Professional Markets Group, a new division focused on providing trading/research products exclusively to market participants whose careers depend on the performance of the market, notably hedge fund managers, brokers, financial planners, traders, and money managers.

With the creation of the Professional Markets Group, TheStreet.com is making yet another aggressive move to become a leader in providing research and trading insights and analysis to market pros nationwide. On top of its existing products RealMoney Pro and TheStreet View TheStreet.com will soon launch products that are tailor-made to specific professional groups, including brokers and buy side money managers.

In his new role, Mr. Marino -- a former Executive Vice President of New Business Development of Thomson Financial Corp. -- will report to James Lonergan, Chief Operating Officer of TheStreet.com.

RealMoney Pro and TheStreet View contain unbiased and independent research, investment ideas and analysis unavailable from traditional research firms, and are written by some of the country's best traders, hedge fund managers and money managers to help other investment professionals make money. All professional products can be paid through commissions under established soft-dollar research programs.
