WOR RADIO NETWORK AND THESTREET.COM PARTNER TO PRODUCE AND SYNDICATE JIM CRAMER'S REALMONEY
Jim Cramer's RealMoney Finds New Home on WOR Radio Network
NEW YORK, December 6, 2002 - WOR Radio Network today announced it has reached an agreement in principle to partner with TheStreet.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:TCSM), a leading multimedia provider of financial commentary, analysis, research and news, to syndicate Jim Cramer's RealMoney radio program to a national audience beginning January 1, 2003. Jim Cramer's RealMoney helps take the mystery out of what moves the financial markets through Cramer's uncensored opinions and insights.
"I love radio and I am delighted to be able to continue my mission of entertaining and educating the investing public via this exciting medium," said Cramer. "I am looking forward to working and collaborating with the WOR Radio Network - a true pioneer in radio."
"We whole-heartedly agree with the programmers who have told us that Jim Cramer's RealMoney is the most addictive show on radio," said Kirk Stirland, president of the WOR Radio Network. "By partnering with TheStreet.com we are merging a leading-edge multimedia brand with the strength and stability of our classic talk format. We think that there is huge growth potential here and we are thrilled to have been chosen to take the show to the next level."
This is the first time in the WOR Radio Network's history that it is collaborating in a syndication partnership.
