TheStreet.com Inc. Appoints On2.com CEO and President Douglas McIntyre to Board of Directors
NEW YORK, January 25, 2001 - TheStreet.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:
TSCM
), a leading Web-based provider of financial and investment news and commentary, announced today the election of Douglas A. McIntyre, President and Chief Executive Officer of On2.com (ASE: ONT), to the Company's board of directors. Mr. McIntyre brings more than 19 years of technology and media experience to TheStreet.com.
At On2.com, a leading broadband application service provider, Mr. McIntyre is responsible for On2.com's operations and financial activities, including leveraging relationships within the Wall Street and technology-investment communities and leading the execution of the company's business-to-business broadband strategic initiatives. Prior to On2.com, he served as President and CEO of Future Source/Bridge LLC, President of Switchboard.com, and President and Publisher of FinancialWorld magazine. Mr. McIntyre also has held positions at Veronis Suhler & Associates, TIME, Inc. and Penthouse International.
