I know a lot of people who are involved in trading IPOs. Many of them are professional traders; quite a few are individuals who participate at a pretty serious level. Collectively, they are a terrific source of market insight for me and my research staff, which is why I spend a huge part of my day fielding email and phone calls from these folks.
