Ariba Names Mueller CEO; Krach to Continue as Chairman

Ariba (ARBA Quote) named President and Chief Operating Officer Larry Mueller to the new post of chief executive, where he will replace Keith Krach.

Krach will continue as chairman of the business-to-business software company's board. Mueller, age 48, became president and operating chief of Ariba in January 2000. He joined the company in October 1999.
