Broadcom Meets Wall Street's Lowered Expectations
Broadcom(BRCM Quote), a maker of communications chips, said it met Wall Street's lowered earnings estimates for the latest first quarter.
The company said on Wednesday that it earned $24.2 million, or 9 cents a share, in the quarter, matching the consensus forecast of analysts polled by Thomson Financial/First Call. The company earned 18 cents a share a year ago and 32 cents a share in the latest fourth quarter. ...
