Citi Names Global Banking Head

Citigroup (C Quote) named Raymond McGuire the sole head of its global banking, a position he had previously shared, according to an internal memo.

McGuire had served as co-head of the global investment banking business with Alberto Verme, who was named co-CEO of the company's operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa earlier this week, according to Citi's head of institutional clients John Havens in the memo sent on Monday. Citi also named other executive moves.

McGuire's "priorities" will include "attracting and retaining the best talent, providing first-class advice to our platinum and core clients and growing our revenue, profit and market shares globally," according to the memo. ...
