Stryker Gets Subpeona From NJ AG Over Trials

NEW YORK (AP) — Implant maker Stryker Corp. said Monday it received a warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration over one of its facial implant products. The company also said it received a subpoena requesting financial documents from the Attorney General of New Jersey.
The Kalamazoo, Mich., company said the FDA's May 5 letter concerned compliance issues for a craniomaxillofacial implant product that is sold through a distribution facility in Portage, Mich. Stryker said it is in the process of responding to regulators.
Meanwhile, Stryker said the New Jersey Attorney General on Thursday requested documents related to the financial interests and arrangements of doctors who participate in some of Stryker's clinical trials. The company said it is evaluating the scope of the subpoena and considering its response. ...
