Shares of Norfolk Southern(NSC Quote), which announced Thursday that its expansion has led to $2.2 billion in investment -- mostly in renewable energy -- moved higher along with shares of other railroad companies.
Norfolk Southern was recently higher by 8.3%, or $2.85, to $37.39.
