The Dow Jones Transportation Average was higher Monday as several of its components had gains of more than 5%.
For the session, the transports tacked on 89.59 points, or 3.7%, to 2509.48.
Overseas Shipholding (OSG Quote) had the best performance on a percentage basis, rising 7% to $22.69 on a day that was positive for a number of ocean shippers.
