IMS CEO Got $5.9M Compensation Package In 2008

NEW YORK (AP) — David Carlucci, the chief executive of IMS Health Inc., received a compensation package worth $5.9 million in 2008, down 21 percent from the year before, according to an Associated Press calculation of figures disclosed in a regulatory filing made late Wednesday.
Carlucci, who is also the president and chairman of the health care market research firm, drew a salary of $850,000 for the year, an increase of less than 1 percent from 2007. His performance bonus decreased 17 percent to $567,500, and the value of Carlucci's other compensation fell 34 percent to about $100,300.
IMS shares lost 34 percent of their value in 2008 to finish the year at $15.16. ...
