Alliant Cutting 300 Jobs from Utah Facilities
Magna, Utah -- Aerospace and defense contractor Alliant Techsystems (ATK Quote) says it is cutting 300 jobs from its Utah facilities.
ATK spokesman George Torres says the cuts are to be made by the end of March and will be accomplished through layoffs, retirements and attrition.
He says the company also will try to transfer some employees elsewhere to possibly reduce the number of cuts.
