"Home Depot(HD Quote) post-Nardelli has really cleaned up its act," said Jim Cramer on Tuesday's "Stop Trading!" segment on CNBC. "It's made the stores better. It got rid of some divisions that weren't working."
He said that while Robert Nardelli was the CEO of Home Depot, Lowe's(LOW Quote) was the better company, but now HD is "a better-run company" than it was.
"This is a new, invigorated Home Depot, and it's better than Lowe's," he said. "I think Lowe's better get its act together." He added that he thinks Home Depot's dividend is safe.
Cramer said that what Visa(V Quote), MasterCard(MA Quote) and Goldman Sachs(GS Quote) have in common is that "they have very little or no credit risk," adding that "Goldman's cleaned it up." ...
