OKLAHOMA CITY -- No wonder Arthrocare (ARTC Quote) has been reporting explosive demand for its sports medicine devices.

"Basically, we provide the devices to them (customers) at no charge," Arthrocare Vice President David Applegate told TheStreet.com in a recent interview.
