Tech stocks were weaker overall Monday after the rally that ended last week, but a few names were managing to rise against the downward tide.
One of the biggest winners was Transmeta (TMTAD Quote), whose stock rose 19.5% to $10.04 on word that the chip-technology company has hired Sujan Jain as chief financial officer.
Jain will replace Ralph J. Harms, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. ...
