Scattered news nudged a few biotechs on a fairly static day for health stocks Friday.
Endo Pharmaceuticals(ENDP Quote) said late Thursday that the Food and Drug Administration requested an extension on the review date of its new-drug application for the short-term indication of its menstrual migraine drug Frova.
The agency already requested an extension earlier this year, pushing the date back from May 19 to Aug. 19. Endo and partner Vernalis said that the FDA hasn't asked them for more information or trial data, and until they receive further information from the agency, they intend to continue their original commercial plan for the drug. ...
