52-Week Highs: Ebix(EBIX Quote) gained 8% after the company reported second-quarter profit gains of 67%, sending the stock to a 52-week high. The company, which provides software to the insurance industry, saw net income climb to $2.5 million, or 75 cents per share, compared with $1.5 million, or 48 cents a share, from the previous year.
