Tuesday's ETF Winners & Losers

The PowerShares Lux Nanotech (PXN Quote) exchange-traded fund was the top performer of Tuesday's winning session, thanks to gains in several of its holdings.

Among them, Elan (ELN Quote) and Accelrys (ACCL Quote) were both higher. The PowerShares Lux Nanotech was recently higher by 90 cents, or 5.5%, to $17.38.

Bundled securities tracking real estate investment trusts were also higher, thanks to a second-quarter earnings beat by Vornado Realty Trust (VNO Quote), which was up more than 4%. Simon Property Group (SPG Quote), ProLogis (PLD Quote) and Kimco Realty (KIM Quote) were adding 1.4% or more. ...
