Google(GOOG Quote) board member Michael Moritz won't seek re-election at the company's next shareholder meeting, the search giant announced Thursday afternoon.
Moritz, one of the most successful venture capital investors of all time and a partner at Sequoia Capital, was an early investor in Google when it was a startup company. He also backed Yahoo!(YHOO Quote), eBay's(EBAY Quote) PayPal and Flextronics(FLEX Quote).
Additionally, he invested in video-sharing site YouTube, which Google acquired in October for $1.65 billion. ...
