Global Stocks Gain
Stocks were generally stronger in Asia overnight Monday, and markets in Europe followed with gains of their own.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 climbed 1.6% to 17,010, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up 1.7% to 19,267. China's Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 was higher by 2.1% to 2659, and Taiwan's Taiex tacked on 0.2% to 7737.
South Korea's Kospi was up 1.1% to 1443, and India's BSE Sensex gained 1.7% to 12,645. Singapore's Straits Times Index added 1.5% to 3113. ...
