Equities Climb in Europe
Stocks were by and large stronger in Europe Monday, with only a few pockets of weakness in places like Switzerland, Poland and Denmark.
London's FTSE 100 gained 0.5% to 6435, and Frankfurt's Xetra DAX rose half a percent to 7028. The Paris Cac 40 climbed 0.8% to 5763, and Milan's MIB 30 was up 0.9% at 42,821.
On the downside, the Swiss Market Index gave up 0.4% to 9223, and in Denmark the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell nearly 1% to 473.85. ...
