Microsoft(MSFT Quote) CEO Steve Ballmer wanted Wall Street to ratchet down its revenue expectations for Vista, the new version of Windows. So in an unusual midquarter analyst meeting Thursday, he told investors that some projections for the operating system were "overly aggressive."
