Scana Plant Back in the Game

Scana's (SCG Quote) 1,000-megawatt V.C. Summer nuclear station returned to service on Nov. 22.

The plant returned after about one-third of its 157 fuel assemblies were replaced.

"This has been a successful outage on many levels. Not only did we complete it safely, we also addressed several maintenance opportunities that will enhance the station's reliability over the next operating cycle.
