Telus (TU Quote) said the CEO of its mobility business, George Cope, quit to become chief operating officer at the Bell Canada unit of BCE (BCE Quote).
"I am grateful for George's leadership and dedication to the Telus team and for his efforts in establishing Telus Mobility as one of the leading wireless carriers globally," said Telus CEO Darren Entwistle. "George is a tremendous talent in the Canadian telecommunications industry and he will be missed by the excellent leadership team at Telus Corporation."
