AMD Takes Intel Fight to Japan

In an expansion of its legal assault started this week, Advanced Micro Devices(AMD Quote) filed two suits against Intel(INTC Quote) in Japan seeking more than $50 million for alleged anticompetitive acts.

AMD announced the suits on Thursday; it filed the claims through its AMD Japan unit.

AMD's suit in the Tokyo High Court seeks $50 million in damages and stems from the Japan Fair Trade Commission's findings in March that Intel violated the country's antimonopoly act. ...
