Stocks in Motion: Holly Energy

Shares of Holly Energy Partners(HEP Quote) were among Thursday's New York Stock Exchange winners after the oil transportation company priced 6.1 million shares at $22.25 apiece in an initial public offering. The company's shares were priced at the high end of the expected offering range of $20.25 to $22.25 a share.
The company will own and operate refined product pipelines in West Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. Holly Energy Partners also owns a 70% interest in Rio Grande Pipeline. Shares of Holly Energy Partners traded up $2.30, or 10.3%, to $24.55.
Shares of Aetna(AET Quote) got a lift after the health insurer said that the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation approved a $740 million tax refund. The company says that it will use the refund to buy back shares of its stock. The refund will be recorded as income from discontinued operations in the third quarter. The refund relates to businesses that were sold by Aetna in the 1990s. Shares of Aetna traded up $1.97, or 2.4%, to $83.77. ...
