The Night Watch: Networkers Slip in Light Trading
Networking stocks were moving slightly lower in after-hours Instinet trading, but on the whole, the extra session was fairly quiet to start the week.
Cisco (CSCO Quote) was slipping 0.3% to $17.37. Ciena (CIEN Quote) was lower by 1% at $10.19, and Juniper (JNPR Quote) was down 0.3% to $14.67.
Volume was light. In the first hour of trading, only about 1.4 million shares had changed hands among the top 20 most actively traded stocks on the Instinet platform. ...
