Amazon Turns In Star Performance

Boy, these are strange times, with the bulls and bears really fighting over this move. Along those lines, it should be noted that my friend Jim Rohrbach issued a buy for the Nasdaq two days ago. (He already had a buy out for the New York Stock Exchange.) On the other hand, my buddy Bob Drach ratcheted down to only 6% invested this past Saturday from a high of 80% invested last October.

Why the discrepancy? Different signals, obviously -- and different strategies. Jim is more of a "strong, getting stronger" investor, while Bob adheres to the "buy on weakness, sell into strength" philosophy.

Both have nice track records, so who should you trust? That's a decision you have to make on your own once you're comfortable with your own risk/reward profile. ...
