WorldGate Communications Up on Deployment

 

WorldGate Communications (WGAT Quote) was up 23.1% in late morning on news that it will deploy its interactive TV technology to Tacoma, Wash. subscribers of AT&T Broadband, a unit of AT&T (T Quote).

The moves expands on the initial launch of the digital cable project in Iowa. WorldGate also announced a content agreement with NDS, a unit of News Corp. (NWS Quote).
