Triton PCS Rises on Analyst's Comments

Wireless communications provider Triton PCS (TPCS Quote) was up 2% in midmorning after Prudential Securities initiated coverage with a strong buy rating and a price target of $41.

The analyst cited the national scale of Triton's deal with AT&T Wireless (AWE Quote) as supplying critical advantages, and said the operator has "metrics among the best in the industry."
